Abstract
Le Van Truong (1906-1964) is a remarkable writer in Vietnam before 1945. This article analyzes some characteristics of his literary works to emphasize his special role in the modernization of Vietnamese literature. Being considered a phenomenon in Vietnamese literature of the twentieth century, the case of Le Van Truong proves that modern literature grows towards mass readers and sees no limitation.
