The 2025 Han Nom Tradition Festival with the theme "青苑 Thanh Uyen" was inspired by the saying "Thanh thủ chi ư lam nhi thanh ư lam; Băng thuỷ vi chi nhi hàn ư thuỷ" (青取之於藍而青於藍,冰水為之而寒於水) by Xun Zi, to convey the message that the next generation will always continue, constantly cultivate to contribute to the development of the career that previous generations have worked hard to cultivate.

After the opening session, the teachers and former students majoring in Sinology Nom Studies shared intimately about the Han Nom major as well as the arduous journey of "panning for gold" on ancient characters.

This year, the Festival also has a special topic called “Report on the practical internship in Phan Thiet” by Vo Le Xuan Phuong - representative of Sinology Nom Studies students from 2022-2026. This is an opportunity for students to review their field trip and share their practical internship experiences with their juniors.

As a companion and constant support over the years for generations of students majoring in Sinology Nom Studies, this year the Sinology Nom Studies major of the Faculty of Literature in collaboration with sponsors has awarded scholarships for each course to students with good academic performance and ethics.

In that warm and friendly atmosphere, the Sinology Nom Studies Traditional Festival 2025 with the theme “青苑 - Thanh Uyển” took place successfully, leaving many lingering emotions in the hearts of the participants. Thanks to the support and affection of teachers, generations of students as well as generations who love Sino Nom, it has become a valuable source of motivation to help Thanh Uyển become a meaningful connecting space - where today's generation can get closer to the precious values of its origins.
